Father's Day Car Show
Each year on Father's Day, our City hosts a nationally recognized car show. The show takes place on E. State Street between N. Hermitage Road and Kerwood Drive. This section of roadway is closed from 8:00 am to 5:00pm for the show. On a good day, 25,000 people will show up to enjoy the classic, antique, and custom vehicles. The Hermitage Fire Department, as a public relations project, staffs a booth at Kilgore's Towing for the day. We traditionally have water for the spectators and ask for a $1 donation per bottle.
