Engine 93

Engine 93 is a 2001 Pierce Contender Engine with aluminum side-mounted pumper with a six-person cab.  It was dedicated and placed in service on September 11, 2002.  Equipped with a Waterous 1,250 gpm water pump, it is supplied with a 1,000 gallon water tank.  Engine 611 is powered by a 325 hp Detroit Diesel Series 40 engine mated to an Allison transmission.  Engine 611 performs various roles, primarily as our first due firefighting engine on all structural fires.  This unit is also equipped for minor vehicle extrication with a Hurst battery operated hydraulic cutter/spreader rescue tool.  This unit carries 1000 feet of 4″ large diameter supply hose preconnected to a four-way hydrant valve, two 1 ¾” and one 2 ½” preconnected attack lines for quick fire suppression.
