Ladder 93

This unit is a Tel-Squirt-Engine and is a 1999 Pierce Dash with a side mounted Waterous  1,500 gpm water pump.  This unit was dedicated and placed in service June 1, 1999.  This engine is powered by a 475 hp Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine mated to an Allison transmission.  A 65′ Snorkel Tele-Squirt box beam aerial device (Straight Stick) tops off the engine.  This aerial device has the capability to flow 1,000 gallons of water per minute at full capacity.  Supplying the Waterous pump is a 650 gallon water tank along with a 40 gallon Class A foam tank.  This unit carries 1,000 feet of four inch large diameter supply hose preconnected to a four-way hydrant valve, two 1 ¾” and two 2 ½” preconnected attack lines for quick fire suppression.  With the aerial device, this unit is dually equipped for rescue responses with a backboard and a complete rope rescue system.
